How do I prepare for liposuction?
It’s imperative to be in the best health possible before your procedure:
• Avoid alcohol a few weeks prior
• Avoid smoking a few weeks prior
• Get well hydrated, drinking plenty of water
• Inform us of any medication you are currently taking
How long does the surgery take?
It can take as little as 20 minutes to a couple of hours depending on the amount of fat to be removed. Dr. Davis will be able to determine approximately how long during your consultation.
How long before I can go back to work after liposuction?
Most patients usually go back to work 2 weeks after surgery, depending on the extent of the procedure.
How long before I see the final results?
The results of liposuction are not instantaneous. There will most likely be swelling that may take a week or so to subside. You should be able to see the result once you have completely healed.
How long does liposuction last?
If you maintain a healthy weight, the results of liposuction may be permanent. Weight gain may reverse the results.
How much does it cost?
