How do I prepare for surgery?

IThe tummy tuck procedure is considered major surgery, therefore the healthier you are the better the procedure and quicker you can recover:
• Avoid smoking and alcohol 2 weeks prior to surgery
• Eat healthy and stay well hydrated at least 2 weeks prior
• Inform us of any pre-existing conditions and any medications you may be taking

How long does the surgery take?

Since there is a variation on the types of tummy tuck procedures, it’s difficult to determine how long he procedure can take prior to your consultation. On average, a tummy tuck can take between 2 and 5 hours. However, during your consultation we will be able to give you a more accurate estimate.

How long before I can go back to work   after a tummy tuck?

Depending on the extent of your surgery, you could potentially return to work a month after your tummy tuck. It’s important to have Dr. Davis’ permission prior to increasing your activity, and strenuous activity should be kept at a minimum until you heal.

How long before I see the final results?

Because of possible swelling, it may take between 4 to 6 weeks to view the final results of a tummy tuck. However, the tighter slimmer stomach will be apparent within 2 weeks.

How much does it cost?
